Blue Marlin Apartments - Whitianga

The room at Blue Marlin was spacious and cozy, making it feel like a home away from home. the comfy bed was a dream, and the sheltered verandah was perfect for enjoying meals outdoors. the kitchen had everything needed, and the friendly vibe of Whitianga was just the cherry on top!

The TV sound was scratchy, which was frustrating, but others might not mind it.

The room was great little and beautifully maintained with see view and the location was fantastic...

It was tidy with helpful and affable staff. The setting was excellent and absolutely perfect, adjacent to sea front restaurants and stores close by, Cathedral Cove and hot water beach and grocery store.

As for me, the area was disappointing.

The Blue Marlin Apartments is an excellent place to stay for a relaxing holiday. The location offers an amazing view of the beach and is close to everything, including seafront restaurants and the town. The onsite bar serves hot drinks, adding to the comfortable experience.

Easy access to a beautiful beach 🏖️, and the surroundings were peaceful and calm.

We were welcomed by a friendly owner were really good to make our stay nice. She gave us great recommendations for attractions and even provided a heater for the chilly nights. The room was clean and cozy, and we felt right at home. I highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay.

Had an awesome time at this place by the beach! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the room was really clean and comfortable. The bed was so cozy, I slept like a baby. The location was ideal, with easy access to the beach and just a short drive away from the town and shops.

There were a couple of downsides though. The lack of cooking facilities was a bit disappointing, as we were hoping to do some cooking during our stay.

The bed in the single room was very comfy. The room had an electric kettle, a microwave, and air conditioner. The private bathroom was fairly clean. The location was great and lovely, close to restaurants and only a 5-minute walk to Buffalo Beach. it was a very nice stay for three nights.

We had an amazing stay with easy access to great restaurants and just across from a beautiful beach. the location was wonderful as it was close to the shops and easy to find. the room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful modern bathroom.

I found this hotel to be great value for money. The prices were affordable and reasonable, especially considering the wonderful views from the rooms. The staff were attentive and provided excellent service, making sure we had everything we needed. The location was central and within walking distance to the main center, which was very convenient. The hotel also offered basic amenities and a nice view, making our stay even more enjoyable.

One area that could be improved upon was the soundproofing. Despite the overall positive experience, there were some slight noise disturbances from neighboring rooms.

Absolutely nothing.

Great location and friendly staff. The apartment was within walking distance of shops and restaurants. , it had a washing machine and was kept clean and tidy.

There were some issues with the plumbing in the bathroom and the shower was blocked. However, these problems were resolved quickly by the staff once we notified them.

During our recent getaway to this hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by a few unexpected perks. the ease of onsite parking was a great convenience, allowing us to come and go as we pleased. The complimentary Wi-Fi was a bonus, especially for streaming our favorite sports games. Speaking of which, having access to Sky Sports was a real treat, as we enjoyed watching the thrilling match between the Black Caps and the Aussies. Additionally, our quiet upstairs unit provided a peaceful retreat, just a short 30-second stroll away from the beach. We loved being able to take a dip in the sheltered waters whenever we wanted. And to top it off, the Enigma Cafe, located a mere 200 meters down the road, served delicious drinks and meals with a stunning view of the beach, ocean, and harbor entrance.

While we had an overall pleasant experience at this hotel, there was one small issue that could be improved upon. Unfortunately, the noise from other guests walking around on the floor above us disturbed our sleep during one particular night.

Great location close to shops and beach with a lovely view. The service was personal and friendly, with daily room cleaning and fresh linen provided. The room had all the required facilities for a comfortable stay.

All was okay.

The hotel's central location was perfect, as it was within walking distance to all the shops, cafes, and restaurants in the area. Additionally, the rooms on the upper floor offered a nice view of the surrounding area and the sea.
